Fantasy Football Assistant version 2.1
NOTE: Version 2.1 data files are NOT compatible with previous versions.
If you are updating from a previous version in the middle of a
season, you must manually re-enter team rosters and use Win/Loss
Maintenance to update team history. A decision was made not to
include a conversion routine from previous versions since it would
require considerable code to account for each previous version.
The following is a list of the files that should be included with
Fantasy Football Assistant:
READ.ME----------This file.
FFA.DOC----------Fantasy Football Assistant documentation.
FFA.EXE----------Main program.
FFARPT.EXE-------Reports program.
FFAUTL.EXE-------Utilities program.
FFA.HLP----------On-line help text.
FFASCHED.DAT-----Predefined schedule.
FFABYE.DAT-------Bye Week data file.
HISTORY.DOC------Version history.
NFLRSTR.TXT------NFL Roster List.
REGISTER.DOC-----Registration information & order form.
BRUN45.EXE-------QuickBasic 4.5 Runtime Module
ASADREAD.TXT-----ASAD information.
VENDOR.DOC-------Vendor/sysop information.
FILEID.DIZ-------FFA file description.
To install, copy the files to your hard drive or to a working diskette.
To execute Fantasy Football Assistant, change the current directory to the
directory where Fantasy Football Assistant is installed, enter FFA and
press [ENTER]. Please refer to the HISTORY.DOC file for a list of changes
that have been made.
***************************** NOTE **********************************
If you received this program from a friend, please be sure to delete
the FFATEAM.DAT file (if present) before you set up your own league.
( DEL FFATEAM.DAT )
***********************************************************************
If upgrading from a previous version, then the best thing to do is to
remove all the files from the previous version (except FFAREG.DAT if
you are a registered user), and then install the new version.
To print the manual, enter PRINT FFA.DOC and press [ENTER]. The
manual is structured assuming that the printer will be set at 6 lines per
inch. The manual will contain all the instructions for executing Fantasy
Football Assistant. The manual is approximately 40 pages long.
